Privacy Policy

The short version

Eraseline exists to remove your data from the internet, not to collect it. We gather the minimum needed to run scans and removals, we never sell or share it, and you can delete everything with one tap.

What we collect

• Account: email address and a hashed password (or your Apple ID identifier if you use Sign in with Apple).
• Scan inputs: the name, city, phone or email you choose to scan. Used only to query data broker sites on your behalf.
• Removal records: which opt-out requests were created and their status, so you can track progress.
• Subscription status: whether you have an active Pro subscription (via Apple; we never see payment details).

What we don't do

• No selling or sharing of personal data with third parties.
• No advertising, ad SDKs, or third-party analytics trackers.
• No collection beyond what the scan and removal features require.

Data retention & deletion

Data is retained while your account is active. Delete your account in the app (Settings → Account → Delete) or email privacy@eraseline.com and all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days.

Your rights

Depending on your location (GDPR, CCPA and similar laws), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to processing. Contact us at privacy@eraseline.com.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed with scrypt. Access is limited to what is required to operate the service.

Changes

We'll post any changes here and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
